New Think mode for multi-step reasoning (free until Dec 31st)
Advanced users ask complex questions that need multi-step reasoning, not just quick lookups. We built something for that.
Here's what shipped in November:
Think mode: When your users need actual analysis, not just lookup
Complex questions require multi-step analysis: comparing multiple approaches, walking through scenarios, connecting information across different parts of your documentation. Regular AI gives surface-level answers. Think mode does comprehensive analysis.
What it solves: "Should I use REST or GraphQL for this API?" "Why does my deployment work locally but fail in production?" "What's the best authentication approach for my use case?" Questions that need reasoning, not just lookup.
How it works: Users pick their reasoning level in the chat:
- Auto: System decides based on question complexity
- Instant: Fast lookups and simple definitions
- Think: Deep analysis for complex questions (comprehensive, takes longer)
Think mode is available on Professional plans and above. Enable it in project settings, then users can choose their mode via the chat settings.
Free until December 31st: Think mode runs at regular interaction rates instead of premium pricing. Perfect time to see what your users can accomplish with deeper reasoning.
Simplified interface and enhanced dark mode
Removed visual clutter from the chat interface. Dark mode got rebuilt from scratch with proper contrast and readability.
If you're using the CDN version, clear your browser cache to see the changes. Otherwise, update to the latest package.
Export conversations for analysis and compliance
Bulk export conversation data straight from your dashboard. Useful for sharing insights with stakeholders, compliance archiving, and running analysis on conversation patterns.
New AI models: GPT-5 Mini is now default
GPT-5 Mini is now the default for new projects. Also added GPT-5.1 and Claude Haiku 4.5 for users who want the latest models.
Existing projects keep their current model settings. Switch models in project settings if you want to try the new ones.
