Create API keys that only reach one project

You can now limit a new Biel.ai API key to a single project when you create it in the dashboard.

That gives integrations the access they need without handing them a key that can reach every project in your team. A project-scoped key cannot access team-wide endpoints or other projects.

To create one, go to Team settings > API keys, choose the project under Project access, then select the permissions the integration needs.

Use a project-scoped key for a deployment, script, or external system that works with only one documentation set. Leave All projects in this team selected only when the integration genuinely needs team-wide access.

Existing keys keep their current access. Create a new scoped key when you want to narrow an integration's permissions.
